Psychotherapist
I am a New York State Licensed and Nationally Certified Mental Health Counselor. I received my Master of Arts degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. I work with both individuals and couples.
I spent the better part of 25 years working with individuals in the creative arts. Those one-on-one experiences allowed me to develop a communication style that lets each client feel part of a team.
My goal is to help clients deal with the everyday stress of life to ongoing depression and anxiety; from relationship problems to personal/professional life transitions; issues involving low self-esteem, grief, and loss.
We set our goals together, to understand what’s preventing you from living the life you want and provide you with tools to take on challenges with confidence.

Getting Started
It may be a specific event or it may be self-inventory; whatever brings you to therapy, we will discuss goals and determine how best to proceed together.
What about cost?
My rate for a 45 minute session is $225. I also provide invoices for all out of network insurance coverage.
What will we talk about?
During our sessions, I will work to get to know you and we will talk about how to cope with any negative and automatic self-defeating thinking. Working from a cognitive behavioral model, we will address inner dialogue and beliefs and see if they create negative patterns that get in the way of experiencing life to the fullest.
What options are there for sessions?
Depending on your needs I offer in-person sessions as well as sessions via Phone or Zoom.
